As residents of Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes, we enjoy our river and love our community. Many projects continue as we move forward every day to make our wonderful community a proud place to call home.

CLUBHOUSE NEWS

The clubhouse and pool area are getting some much-needed TLC. New pool furniture, including chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas, have been purchased and set up. Residents are already enjoying the summer with our new amenities. The painting of the exterior of the clubhouse has begun. So, if you have not had a chance to say good bye to our orange roof – please do so now because her time is near.

NEW WEBSITE!

A new website is coming! THT will have a new, more user-friendly website coming soon and we need your help with content. Please email any pictures you may have about life on the river. We would love to have them on the new website!!!

IMPORTANT VOTE INFO

The final votes were taken and tallied at the Special Member Meeting on June 11, 2019 and the vote to enter into a contract with St. Tammany Utilities to tie into the municipal sewer system received 90.14% approval.
NEW PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY

We are pleased to announce we have contracted with Renaissance Property Management to oversee daily operations of our Association. By now, you should have received an introduction letter from Rodney Durst with Renaissance. You may direct any issues regarding our community directly to Rodney at 985-624-2900, ext. 101 or by email at Rodney@renmgt.com or info@renmgt.com .

Renaissance will also be handling ACH debits. If you would like your dues to be drafted directly from your checking account, please complete the attached form and return it to Rodney at Renaissance.

MAY 2019 NEWSLETTER
THT - MOVING AHEAD IN MAY!

Progress continues here at Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes. Many large construction projects are completed or will be wrapping up shortly. The West Building drainage project is now complete. Work on the East bulkhead, drive and parking is nearly complete and cones should be removed in the upcoming days. Our community is receiving some much needed TLC and your patience is greatly appreciated.

NEW BUSINESS 

New Property Management Company  - Renaissance Property Management has been hired as the new property management company for Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes. In the next week or two, residents will receive and introduction letter from Renaissance explaining their capacity and responsibilities to our community. We look forward to their experience, knowledge and expertise to assist in continuing to move our community forward. 

ACH Direct Debits  - THT is moving from Chase Bank to Capital One Bank. As of May 7, 2019, all ACH Direct Deposits for THT residents have been cancelled. As we transition to Capital One and Renaissance, the June monthly $400 dues and $500 Monthly Assessment for Maintenance and Repairs will have to be paid by check and either mailed to the office or placed in the office drop box. This should only need to occur for June. Checks can be mailed to Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes - Office 127 Highway 22, Madisonville, LA 70447.

Bone Yard   - We will be emptying the bone yard soon in order to clean-up, add gravel, update parking and remove derelict and abandoned trailers and boats. 30 days will be allowed to have all personal items removed. Any remaining items will be disposed of at owner's expense. This area will need to be free of any obstruction for 45 to 60 days. All rent during this time will be refunded. Upon completion, a new fee structure will be developed based on the space used and frequency to access needed. Current occupants will receive updated pricing and be accommodated first.

Boat Insurance   - Please remember that all boats parked in Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes must have current proof of insurance on file in the office. If you have not provided THT with proof of insurance please do so as soon as possible.

Don’t believe the label!   - We have had some issues recently with items such as “flushable wipes” clogging our sewer pumps. Regardless of what the label says, please do not flush anything other than toilet tissue down the toilet. Major blockages can occur that end up costing our community.

Sound Deadening East Side - Sound deadening matting has been installed around the sewer blowers and DB readings are found to be within the acceptable limits of St. Tammany Parish.

MARCH/APRIL 2019 NEWSLETTER
SPRING IS HERE!

You can look around and see how green everything is getting. You can also look around and see all that's happening at THT. The West Building repairs are complete and we are now in the clean-up process. Other projects are also underway. As you will see in the photos below, the repair has been made to the center pier and the stabilization of the East Bulkhead is underway. Our community is getting the necessary TLC it has needed. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience during the progress.

Spring is right around the corner and the signs are everywhere.
So many wonderful projects are happening in our Community.
Just look around!
The West Building construction is in full swing.
Gardens are popping up everywhere.
THT definitely has plenty on its plate but what a future we have!

Just a few pictures of the new gardens around the Community. All planting was done by the THT Landscape Committee using plants propagated from the North garden and flowers donated by THT homeowners - so no cost to THT!

Happy New Year Everyone!

With the New Year comes new and exciting developments for Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes. Some long awaited construction projects are now underway! Our monthly newsletter will provide updates to construction and beautification projects, including before/after pictures, as well as fun happenings within our community. The THT Holiday Party on
December 27th had a great turn out. Local musicians, Steve Arceneaux and Sam Miano, played for a welcoming crowd in our clubhouse. We want to thank the THT Event Committee for hosting this event. We look forward to more events like this, including more music from local musicians.
